Spiritual Body I — Living Water, 2026

Catalina Gold is a Colombian-born figurative artist working between New York City and Milwaukee. Her practice spans painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, and public art, exploring spirituality, the female body, transformation, memory, identity, landscape, and pilgrimage.

Through atmospheric landscapes and symbolic encounters between human and animal forms, Gold considers how inner experience becomes visible. Her current body of work, Spiritual Bodies, develops the figure as a vessel for place, memory, and spiritual presence.

Gold received her MFA from the New York Academy of Art in 2026 and her BFA from Corporación Universitaria de Artes y Letras in Bogotá in 2015. Her work has been presented at the New York Academy of Art, Latino Arts, and Arts @ Large. Her public practice includes murals, collaborative projects, and community-based cultural work in the United States and Colombia.
